A life in international transport logistics – logistics company Rosebrock wishes former Managing Director Ulrich Weichert all the best in his well-earned retirement

Almost 43 years ago, in August 1976, Ulrich Weichert started his vocational training at Rosebrock in Bremen. After national military service, he initially worked in the Accounts Department as an assistant to the Managing Director. His career continued in the commercial area, where he qualified as an accountant. In July 2001, the company shareholders appointed him to the post of Managing Director finance.

Mr. Weichert was involved in major milestones of the company’s development. They included the relocation to the GVZ Cargo Distribution Centre along with construction of the new Rosebrock headquarters, the development of the International Moving Department, foundation of the branch in Poland, and expansion into the business fields air and ocean freight for industrial customers as well as project forwarding.

Over the past years, Mr. Weichert ran the company together with his fellow Managing Director, Mr. Martin Sommer. Now he is handing over his duties as the Director of Financial Accounting to Christian Klar.

The management, shareholders and all employees of Rosebrock wish Mr. Weichert all the best for his retirement and thank him warmly for his many years of service.
