Ready for the Champions League: the Young Movers Conference in Madrid

With a record 38 countries attending, this year’s Young Movers Conference was held from May 5 – 7 in Madrid, Spain. The exchange of information, networking and personal contact with select partners and suppliers are the basis for the on-going success of this event. Technical solutions for the removals industry, SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea), specific customs issues in removal goods logistics, as well as various industry-related compliance topics were some of the subjects being discussed. Imke Kleine, Director of Agency Relations at Rosebrock, was enthusiastic about the multifaceted program. “Everybody in the industry is confronted with the same transnational issues. Therefore, when we are faced with particularly demanding customer concerns, we find it important to personally know the colleagues and partners we can contact for support”, said Mrs. Kleine following the conference.
