Networking – digital, personal and international: Rosebrock at transport logistic trade fair in Munich

With record-breaking participation (2162 exhibitors from 62 nations) the transport logistic trade fair 2017 took place from 9 to 12 May in Munich. The focus of the professional exchange was on subjects like online trading, globalization and Industry 4.0, as they amount to more goods, more transport and increased logistics. At this international trade show Rosebrock was represented by Sonja Riegert (Sales and Marketing) and Stefan Heine (Director General Cargo Sea- and Air-Freight), who consolidated contacts with suppliers and partners („preferred carrier and airlines”) in the sea- and air-freight sector. Rosebrock’s expertise in the cooperation with the Northern German seaports of Bremerhaven, Hamburg and, increasingly, Wilhelmshaven, is very much valued by customers and partners alike. This also applies to air freight consignments in the pharmaceuticals and health care industry, where country-specific logistics know-how, e.g. in carrying out customs formalities, is in high demand. This reduces the risk of transport delays for the customer.

In order to be able to offer transport solutions that go above and beyond the standard, the networking of providers plays a decisive role. Therefore, for the road haulage sector, too, this year’s transport logisticfair was an ideal location to strengthen personal contacts and the cooperation within the framework of networks like VTL (leading general cargo provider and supplier of Europe-wide logistics solutions).
